The client, Veritas Consultant Group, had been purchased and restarted multiple times. The owners required a new logo as the start of developing their new brand identity.

VCG is a bookkeeping and tax preparation company based in California. The owners stated their desire to tailor their communications to business owners who are women, LGBTQ+ and people of color who are traditionally under-served in this spaced. The owners also wanted to bring more of their personalities and preferences into their brand identity, specifically more color, humor and softness than is traditionally associated with the branding of competitors in the bookkeeping and tax-preparation industry.

The story that emerged over our discussions was importance of partnership to the owners of VCG when they work with client businesses to produce the best outcomes.
