Immigration lawyer Alex Serrano Mercado is establishing an independent practice and boutique law firm, and needed a professional website in a relatively short time frame. After discussing their needs, we decided on employing the Squarespace platform for ease of use. The site needed to be bilingual, English and Spanish, since a large percentage of Serrano Mercado’s clients speak Spanish as a first language.

Additionally Serrano Mercado needed initial branding and brand assets as they are completing the set-up of their new company, so I created a sleek, simple monogram as a logo for use in collateral and for the website. I also came up with a color palette that is professional and understated, but stands out from the common palette of navy blues and reds that are often employed by U.S.-based immigration attorneys.
